Tangles, Talk, and Taps: A Creative Afternoon at Feed Store Beer Co.

Our first Zentangle session at the Feed Store Beer Co. in Bloomfield, IN, turned out to be a big hit! It was a laid-back, enjoyable afternoon filled with great conversation and complimentary drinks.

Our warmup tile used a variation of the K2 fragment. We filled the space with triangles of varying sizes and then used circles and curves to create the swirling effect. We topped that off with some easy shading along the curves!

From there, we moved on to our second tile, using three different tangles on one tile.

We started with our four corner dots, a border, and a string, and we added the K2 variation into one area.

From there, we each did two different tangles—tangles like "Crescent Moon," "Printemps," "Hollibaugh," "Boulder Builder," "Whiskers," "Fetti," "Indyrella," "B12 Fragment," and "Bales."

With no set plan and our motto of "there are no mistakes," beautiful Zentangle-inspired art was created!

I enjoyed our afternoon and loved hearing that many want to meet again! We're looking at doing a Zendala the next time around—date and time TBA!
